How do I register for OUTC20?

Registration is easy! Head over to our Register page to see what option works best for you, then click the "Register Now" button to sign up. If you are planning to attend workshops, you will need to select the specific workshop sessions you want to take after you complete the initial registration process. Please note: You can change your workshop selections at any point up to one week prior to the conference, so don't worry that you have to know your exact schedule when you sign up. If you have any questions, please email us at marketing@omniupdate.com.

Do you offer any discounts?

Yes! If you register before January 31, 2020, you will automatically receive $100 off your registration. We also have a buy 4 registrations, get 25% off offer! This offer only applies to the Full 5-Day Registration. To take advantage of this offer, make sure you register all 4 people at the same time. The 25% off discount will be applied at checkout. What's the difference between general and workshops registration?

The full 5-day registration includes 2 days of presentations (Monday and Tuesday) followed by 2 days of hands-on workshops (Wednesday and Thursday). Presentations are generally 45 minutes long and are a lecture format led by industry specialists, your collegiate peers, and OmniUpdate product experts. The workshops are hands on and vary in length. They are led by OmniUpdate instructors and each workshop will include course materials. Though we do offer a workshops-only registration option, we highly recommend you attend the full 5-day event to get the most out of your experience. I want to attend workshops; which ones are the right fit for me?

Each workshop has an intended audience and prerequisite knowledge. The prerequisites are listed below the description of each workshop and the audiences are as follows: Admin Beginner, Admin Advanced, Developer Beginner, and Developer Advanced. How much can I expect to spend on OUTC20?

While everyone's expenses will vary, you can use this to best estimate your trip costs:

  • Conference Registration: Conference pricing is either $2,099 or $1,149 depending on what option you select. Take a look at our Register page to determine your registration preference. 
  • Hotel Cost: A single or double occupancy room is $185 per night, plus taxes and fees. If you bring your car, there is also a $30 per night parking fee. 
  • Food Costs: We provide breakfast and lunch, plus two refreshment breaks every day of the conference. We are also providing a light meal during our Sunday reception and a full dinner on Monday evening, should you choose to attend those events. If you attend the full 5 days, you will only need to cover dinner costs for Tuesday through Thursday.
  • Travel Costs: We're confident you'll find the best pricing for flights, but you will likely need to get a rental car, Lyft or Uber ride, taxi, or a shuttle to get to the hotel from the airport. Check out transportation options and pricing on the Location page. 


I purchased my ticket but can't attend. Can I get a refund?

Cancellations
If you can no longer attend the 2020 OmniUpdate User Training Conference (OUTC20), please submit a cancellation request via email to marketing@omniupdate.com with “OUTC20 Cancellation” in the subject line. Registration cancellations made on or before February 28, 2020, will be entitled to a full refund. Cancellations made February 29 through March 13, 2020, will be refunded, less a $100 cancellation fee. No refunds will be given for registrations canceled on or after March 14, 2020. "No Shows" will be deemed a cancellation and will not be refunded.

Please remember that canceling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. You are responsible for canceling your own hotel and travel reservations.

Payment for your registration must be made in full by February 28, 2020. After that date, we reserve the right to cancel unpaid registrations.

Force Majeure
After the March 14, 2020, cancellation cutoff date, payments are not refundable for any reason, including, but not limited to, failure to attend the conference due to illness or due to any event beyond the reasonable control of the parties, such as an act of God, natural disaster, travel related problems, or an act of terrorism. In such cases, the situation will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and a credit will be given toward the following year's conference for the portion of OUTC20 missed. All requests must be made via email to marketing@omniupdate.com no later than March 19, 2020.

Transfers and Substitutions
Registrations may be transferred at any time between individuals from the same institution up to the start of the conference on March 15, 2020. Please send your transfer request via email to marketing@omniupdate.com with “OUTC20 Transfer” in the subject line.
