OUTC20 Postponed - Frequently Asked Questions

 

Why did you decide to postpone OUTC20?

The health and well-being of our customers, partners, and employees is of the utmost importance to OmniUpdate + Destiny Solutions. As more information related to the coronavirus (COVID – 19) became available, we made the difficult decision to postpone OUTC20 and all it's related events and activities. Postponing the event avoids an in-person gathering of a large group at a critical time, and also enables our customers to have their web and marketing teams onsite to prepare and respond to the issues that COVID – 19 may bring to their campuses.

What are the new dates and location for OUTC20?

We are happy to announce that OUTC20 is being rescheduled for August 31 – September 4, 2020. It will still be held at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Universal City, California. If there are changes to the programming, we will communicate those changes after we have had time to reassess all the logistics, scheduling, and so forth

Can I transfer my registration to a colleague?

Yes! If you are unable to attend OUTC20 in the fall, but you have a colleague that would like to attend in your place, simply update your registration with the new registrant's information or contact your OmniUpdate account manager and we can help make the change.

Will I receive a refund for OUTC20?

The good news is that your existing payment for OUTC20 will be rolled over to the new dates and no action is required on your part. If you are unable to attend for the rescheduled dates, we will issue you a full refund of the registration cost. To request a refund, please email your OmniUpdate account manager. Please note that refunds will be processed and reimbursed within 60 days through the registrant’s original method of payment.

What about other travel reimbursement?

While we are happy to work with you on reimbursement for registration; unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for travel expenses and it will be up to each individual to contact their travel providers. Note that hotel rooms will automatically be cancelled without penalty (see question below for additional information). We have prepared a letter to support your requests for refunds from airlines. How will OUTC20 hotel rooms be cancelled?

If you booked a hotel room at the Sheraton Universal Hotel, the hotel will automatically cancel your reservation at no charge unless you notify us otherwise. The same rate will be available for the rescheduled conference dates in the fall.
